The five things people ask before they buy
Why does it arrive flat?
To keep the shipping box small. Pull the sides apart, push the base down and run your hand around the rim — about a minute — and it holds that shape from then on, empty or full.
Will it stand up on its own?
Yes. The rope is double-woven and thick enough to hold the shape without a frame, a liner or a plastic ring. It stays upright empty as well as full.
How big is it really?
26 inches tall and 20 across the base, an inch more at the rim. That is a true family-size load — two to three loads of laundry, or a stack of blankets, towels and pillows.
Will the colour look like the photograph?
